HONG KONG - An original illustration featuring a Hong Kong police officer surnamed Lau was presented to the Hong Kong Police Force at the Wan Chai police headquarters on Friday.
As violent protesters threw projectiles and surrounded Lau and his colleague on July 30, the officer raised his rifle as a gesture of warning as the lives of the duo were seriously threatened.

The mainland artist created the illustrations to show support to Hong Kong police and to appreciate their efforts in upholding the rule of law in the city.
