A symposium was held in Beijing on Monday to share experiences in translating and publishing the second volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China in five ethnic minority languages in China.
The translation of the book into Mongolian, Tibetan, Uygur, Kazak and Korean will help people of these ethnic minority groups in China to better understand Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, according to a news release issued after a meeting between the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the National Ethnic Affairs Commission.

More than 120 officials, translators, publishers and readers attended the meeting. They also discussed how to study and promote the books.
The participants agreed that the books are a valuable asset during the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and a key platform for the ongoing Party education campaign themed "staying true to our founding mission".
