HONG KONG – The Hong Kong section of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL) has served over 14 million visits between the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and cities in the Chinese mainland since its opening last year.
The average daily patronage reached over 54,000, with over 65,000 on weekends currently, MTR, the operator of the cross-border rail link, announced on Saturday.
MTR set up an opinion zone at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station for the second time on June 21 and 22 to invite feedback from passengers with an aim to further enhance customer experience.
Over 60 MTR staff members joined the opinion zone to collect passengers' views on the express rail link service and station facilities. More than 300 passengers expressed their opinions, according to MTR.
