In a statement issued on Sunday, police said they had all along emphasized two fundamental principles: “peaceful solution” and “flexibility”.
In response to those in need, police have arranged medics and clinical psychologists to provide assistance on campus, police said in the statement.
Those under 18 years old will not be arrested when they leave the campus, police reiterated, though they are required to be photographed and have their personal particulars registered.
Police reserve the right to take any legal actions in the future, according to the statement.
