New opportunities for HK job seekers

A job fair and expo hosted by the Labour Department kicked off Thursday in Wan Chai, with over 3,000 vacancies from various industries available for job seekers. 

Around 35 organizations set up booths and conducted recruitment in the Pursuing New Opportunities Job Fair, providing 2,600 vacancies of which more than 1,200 come from the catering, retail and hotel industries.

Besides, more than 20 organizations participated in the Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme Job Expo, offering eligible graduates over 400 job vacancies in mainland Bay Area cities.

Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun Yuk-han attended the event and delivered a speech on Thursday.
