Chinese shuttlers reach 2023 Thailand Masters semis

BANGKOK – Chinese shuttlers sailed into the Thailand Masters semifinals on Friday, securing victories in several categories.
In the men's singles, China's Shi Yuqi breezed past Lee Cheuk Yiu from China's Hong Kong 21-9, 21-11, while China's Li Shifeng edged out Indian player Sai Praneeth B 21-17, 21-23, 21-18.

The 2023 Thailand Masters is being held from Tuesday to Sunday at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok with prize money of $210,000

In the women's singles, China's Zhang Yiman and Han Yue secured their semifinal berths with straight-set wins over Pai Yu Po of Chinese Taipei and Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt of Denmark respectively.

In the women's doubles, Chinese pair Tan Ning/Xia Yuting defeated South Korean duo Lee Yu Lim/Shin Seung Chan 21-16, 21-16, while China's Li Wenmei/Liu Xuanxuan beat their compatriots Li Yijing/Luo Xumin 21-16, 18-21, 21-11.
In the mixed doubles, China's Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping, who recently won the 2023 Indonesia Masters, advanced to the semifinals with a straight-set win over Indonesia's Dejan Fredinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
