HONG KONG – Hong Kong reported 3,667 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths on Tuesday, according to the city’s Centre for Health Protection.
A spokesman for the Hospital Authority said 1,966 COVID patients are receiving treatment at public hospitals, including 183 new admissions
The financial hub reported 4,034 new infections on Monday and 3,897 new cases on Sunday.
In a statement, a spokesman for the center said the new cases comprised 3,474 local infections and 193 imported ones. The six new deaths brought the city’s toll during the fifth wave to 9,921.

In a separate statement, a spokesman for the Hospital Authority said 1,966 COVID patients are receiving treatment at public hospitals, including 183 new admissions.
The spokesman also said 43 patients are in critical condition – 13 of them were in intensive care – and 42 in serious condition.
