Kunshan FC unbeaten in China League One

NANJING - Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic and Kunshan FC settled for a point apiece in a 1-1 draw in China's second-tier League One on Tuesday.

Nemanja Covic followed in to earn Kunshan FC a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute. Chang'an Athletic's Dong Xuesheng came on for Ronaldo Deaconu before the half-time break, but soon after suffered a leg injury and had to be substituted himself by Liu Chaoyang at the start of the second half.

After seven rounds of matches, Kunshan FC now sit third on the table, three points adrift of Sichuan Jiuniu and Nantong Zhiyun, but with a game in hand.

Also on Tuesday, Shanghai Jiading Huilong lost to Sichuan Jiuniu 2-1, Nanjing City beat Beijing IT 3-1, and Liaoning Shenyang Urban suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Heilongjiang Ice City.

On Monday, Shijiazhuang Kungfu saw off Zibo Cuju 1-0, Qingdao Hainiu drew 1-1 with Jiangxi Beidamen, and Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard won 1-0 against Beijing BSU.

In Sunday's matches, Qingdao Qingchundao edged Suzhou Dongwu 2-1, and Guangxi Pingguo Haliao drew 2-2 with Nantong Zhiyun.
