The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen launched a new policy on Tuesday to provide support for Hong Kong and Macao legal professionals who wish to practice there.
Legal services organizations in the special economic zone will be given 30,000 yuan a year for every Hong Kong or Macao legal professional they hire
According to the document, law firms jointly run by Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao will be granted 300,000 yuan ($45,000) to 2 million yuan for setting up a business in Qianhai. Sino-foreign joint law firms and representative offices of overseas law firms in Qianhai also qualify for the grants.

Legal services organizations in the special economic zone will be given 30,000 yuan a year for every Hong Kong or Macao legal professional they hire. Firms that employ 30 or more Hong Kong and Macao professionals will receive a one-time payment of 200,000 yuan.
Legal professionals from the two special administrative regions will be given 30 percent of their income from their respective mainland businesses as a reward for practicing in Qianhai, capped at a total 100,000 yuan per person. They can apply for the money for two years.
