Chinese athletes' stellar Olympics performances and the ongoing 14th National Games have turned the spotlight on the country's sporting stars and how they came to be. China Daily photographer Parker Zheng turns his lens to the young gymnasts at Guangzhou Polytechnic of Sports, which has trained about 1,000 athletes to play on the Guangdong provincial team and the Chinese national team.
