Musical odyssey to wonderland
The Hong Kong Symphonic Winds presents Voyage to Fantasy. By making use of the most advanced wind instruments, the orchestra will take audiences through a musical journey, from Pocahontas’ homeland to the long-forgotten city of Laputa, and ultimately to the magical Land of Oz.

Dialogues with the self
Wedraman Theatre stages Krapp’s Last Tape, Samuel Beckett’s much-feted one-act play. premiered in 1958. In it 69-year-old Krapp is listening to his own 39-year-old self reflecting on the time when he was 20 on an old tape recorder. There’s no telling if the recording he makes during the play is going to be the final one before he passes on or merely the most recent.

Re-tracing a tradition
Art Experience Gallery hosts Traces, a solo exhibition by the renowned Chinese artist Xiao Yu. Eight life-themed printmaking artworks, created by applying mixed techniques across different media, are on show. Borrowing the techniques of traditional printmaking, the artworks carry the spirit of Oriental aesthetics in a subtle and elegant manner.
